   Each year, thousands of couples take advantage of the aura of romance to honor their relationships. Whether you're planning on eloping with just you and that special someone or organizing a traditional wedding with 300 guests, Catalina offers it all. At The Avalon Hotel, we would be honored to provide special accommodations for the wedding party, a never-to-be-forgotten room for your first night as husband and wife or, in limited circumstances, a dramatic location for your ceremony.

  Our roof-top deck offers panoramic views of Avalon Harbor, the quaint city of Avalon and the Island's rugged hillsides. With those sweeping views as a backdrop, you and your guests will fondly remember your wedding day. Our garden courtyard, which features a koi pond, exotic plantings and romantic landscaping, is also available for ceremonies. Both the rooftop deck and the garden courtyard can accommodate 30 people. In order to respect our other guests we ask that all of The Avalon's rooms be booked by the wedding party.

   A number of Island locations are available for larger wedding receptions, including the Casino Ballroom, the Catalina Country Club, the Descanso Beach Club, the Ristorante Villa Portofino and The Landing Bar and Grill.

   Catalina Island weddings are easy to arrange. The island is part of Los Angeles County, allowing most island visitors to have the fun and excitement of a destination wedding without the hassles of out-of-state legalities.
